PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: MODERN LUXURY ON MARCO ISLAND

Since opening in 2011, Clive Daniel Home interior designers have left their design imprint on countless scores of projects, which have ranged from traditional to transitional to ultra-modern. For Frankie Randazzo and Nicole Anastasi’s most recent project, their client wanted the latter: ultra-modern. The duo worked with the homeowner from concept to completion, helping to design their dream home from the ground up.

The home was a new construction, so the biggest design decisions for the project involved selecting the right materials and colors to accomplish a relaxed and luxurious contemporary design. The designers selected impressive, high-end finishes for both the exterior and interiors that are sophisticated in their simplicity. Outside details include cement tile for the portico columns, a 15-foot tall steel entrance door, exterior walnut accents with recessed lighting, marble flooring, and banquette seating to fit ten in a drop-down fire pit.

Inside, Frankie and Nicole created a bright, modern, spacious haven with clean lines, bold accents, gorgeous finishes, and high-end lighting throughout. In the great room, a custom black stone and wood feature wall complements the three-layer drop ceiling with recessed lighting to create a bold backdrop for softer, organic furnishings. The kitchen features all black cabinetry with stunning backlights for drama, contrasting against the bright white island and flooring.

The master bath is just as dramatic, with his and hers floating backlit cabinetry in exotic wood, as well as split suspended mirrors. The designers even installed inset LED lighting strips on the stairwell wall and primary bedroom bed walls, creating a cozy but luxe feel in each room. The entire home is undoubtedly modern yet maintains a sense of warmth and luxury throughout—which is just what the client wanted.
