3 ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS OF LUXURY CLUBHOUSE DESIGN & RENOVATIONS

Luxury clubhouse design requires more than just beautiful interiors. At Clive Daniel Home, our Hospitality team works to create efficient solutions and functional floor plans that provide memorable experiences for all guests to appreciate. Some of our most popular luxury clubhouse designs include the award-winning Quail West Country Club, the Naples Bay Club, the Strada at Mercato Clubhouse, the Colony Country Club, and the Coronado Clubhouse in Boca Raton.

Our luxury clubhouse design portfolio encompass both clubhouse renovations and new constructions. In both cases, the design opportunities are endless as each clubhouse is as distinct as its surroundings and the clientele it caters to. One might include a state-of-the-art wellness center, while another might include a custom entertainment space, conference rooms, a café, or social areas. We at Clive Daniel Home are proud to have designed it all.

The design opportunities are endless as each clubhouse is as distinct as its surroundings and the clientele it caters to.

While each of our projects are unique, there are certain aspects that remain consistent in all of our designs. According to Nancy Woodhouse, IDS, Clive Daniel Home’s VP Hospitality and Business Development, there are 3 essential components of successful luxury clubhouse design and renovations:

1. INCORPORATE BRANDING STRATEGICALLY

Branding should be consistent in all aspects of a business, including its interior spaces. When planning a clubhouse, incorporating the business’s touch points into the design reinforces and strengthens its branding among guests. Aside from the obvious usage of a business’s colors and logo, Clive Daniel Home’s luxury clubhouse designers maximize brand expression through the use of elements of the client’s location, history, mission, and culture.

At the Strada at Mercato Clubhouse, for example, the resort pool deck provided inspiration for the redesign. Capturing the blue hues from the water feature allowed for a natural synergy into the interiors, layering bright green accents to complement the existing bar design and cabinetry.

2. UTILIZE STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY

Luxury clubhouse members expect far more than the standard amenities, making cutting-edge equipment, lighting, and furnishings a must—from ultra high-definition TVs and sound systems, to state-of-the-art fitness machines and custom lighting solutions. Our renovation of the Naples Bay Club even included a brand immersive new Topgolf Swing Suite.

3. PRIORITIZE FUNCTIONALITY

Last but not least, functionality is always a top priority at Clive Daniel Home. A clubhouse’s design should optimize both operational efficiency and the guest experience, while still offering a dynamic design. Functionality applies not only to the floor plan, but also to the overall user experience and amenities—for example, re-designing an underused space to be more efficient, creating new amenities, or even just installing small functional details such as accessible charging ports near seating in lounge areas.

Whether working on a luxury clubhouse design for a high-end condo building or grand hotel, Clive Daniel Home’s Hospitality team listen’s to each client’s needs and offers innovative, world-class solutions.
