CLIVE DANIEL HOSPITALITY TO DESIGN RENOVATIONS FOR NAVONA AT THE COLONY
The project will update all common indoor and outdoor areas
NAPLES, Fla. (February 27, 2023) – Clive Daniel Hospitality, the national award-winning commercial division of Clive Daniel Home, has been awarded a $900,000 contract for the design of the renovations at Navona at the Colony, located at 23540 Via Veneto in Bonita Springs. The project will transform all common indoor and outdoor areas—including the entry, lobby, social room, gym, theater, guest suites, pool area, and pavilion.
Candee Swenson, vice president of the Navona’s board and chair of its interior design committee, stated: “After interviewing five leading design firms and visiting local projects, we selected Clive Daniel Hospitality due to their vision, resources, and proven track record.”
The project was intended to be a multi-phase refresh, but after Hurricane Ian flooded the building and left significant damage, its scope widened and the timeline was pushed up. Work began last month and is expected to be completed this fall.
Clive Daniel Hospitality interior designer Maryanne Hubbell is leading the team in selecting new paint, lighting, drapes, accessories, furnishings, and flooring for the project. With the exception of the lobby flooring, every surface will be updated. The design incorporates clean-lined furniture, floating chandeliers, and organic accents.
“The renovation will provide an updated look and soothing color palette for this luxurious high-rise,” Hubbell said. “We’ve designed custom carpeting, selected stunning lighting and furnishings, and planned special touches throughout.”
