CLIVE DANIEL HOSPITALITY TO DESIGN OLDE FLORIDA MOTORCOACH RESORT
The resort will be a first-of-its-kind luxury motorcoach destination
NAPLES, Fla. (January 20, 2023) – Clive Daniel Hospitality, the national award-winning commercial division of Clive Daniel Home, has been awarded a contract for the design of the welcome center and clubhouse of the future Olde Florida Motorcoach Resort in LaBelle, Florida. Working in collaboration with MHK Architecture & Planning and Lotus Construction on the combined 15,000 square-foot buildings, Clive Daniel Hospitality will manage the selection of all floor plans, furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and equipment.
“It was a no-brainer for us to partner with Clive Daniel Hospitality on this project,” said Jon Rubinton, partner at Lotus Construction. “We have collaborated on previous projects together and have always been impressed with their team’s ability to ideate and execute thoughtful designs.”
The project broke ground in the fall of 2022 and is expected to open in early 2024. It will be a first-of-its-kind resort, with 443 RV spaces, beautiful surroundings, and five-star services and amenities rivaling those found at the finest resorts and clubs. Located on the site of a former orange grove near a beautiful nature preserve, Olde Florida Motorcoach Resort also promises scenic biking and hiking next to LaBelle’s future $1 billion water reservoir, as well as fishing and boating opportunities. Far from being a stopover, the resort will be a destination in and of itself and will be able to accommodate visitors for up to six months at a time.
Nancy Woodhouse, Clive Daniel Home’s vice president of hospitality, will lead the team in designing the interiors. The resort’s welcome center will include a reception area, a sundries shop, a mail room, offices and break rooms, and an exterior terrace. The clubhouse will have a fitness area with locker rooms, a game room, a coffee bar, an indoor-outdoor dining and barbecue area, and outdoor terraces and pavilions.
“All the interiors will embrace luxurious attributes of the outdoor living lifestyle, capturing nature in many of the design details,” Woodhouse said.
Sites will become available for lease and purchase later this year, with prices starting at $225,000 with optional casita mini-homes available for those who desire additional indoor and outdoor space.
