” "The over-riding inspiration that guides his work is a desire to take individual pieces (which, taken separately, reveal little) and combine them into a perfect expression of art and design."
Classically trained with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Visual Communications from Northern Arizona University, Thomas Riker has spent over 25 years honing his art and design skills to keep current with a constantly changing world. The over-riding inspiration that guides his work is a desire to take individual pieces (which, taken separately, reveal little) and combine them into a perfect expression of art and design.
Travels to Italy and France have instilled a strong desire to be able to create work that is reminiscent of classical designs, yet be able to relate to the tastes of a metropolitan audience. His many projects include large homes in Arizona and California. Some of his noteworthy clients include Jason Schmidt and Jeremy Hairston. Thomas has had his work published in numerous magazines including Arizona Foothills Magazine, Phoenix Home and Garden, and Arizona Lifestyles. Guest TV appearances include ABC’s “Sonoran Living Live” and NBC’s “Cool Homes”.
