“This home was designed to feel like a private oasis,” said Nicole Chaussee, owner of Platinum Custom Homes.
She found inspiration for the design on a recent trip to Saint Kitts, for which the spec home is named. Chaussee fell in love with the warm, relaxed island feel of her cottage there and wanted to incorporate similar elements into the model’s design. “Like its inspiration, the St. Kitts Model showcases beautiful, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, lots of natural light, and a large outdoor shower and living areas.”
Inside, the home has beautiful backgrounds throughout, including European oak floors, stunning floor tile designs, and intricate wall detailing. While designing the interior, Trivison and Monahan decided on a neutral color palette interspersed with pops of blue in each room. “The interior design style is coastal contemporary,” Trivison said. “It’s clean and fresh and fun, and would be perfect for a young family.”
