Clive Daniel Hospitality reimagines the North Naples clubhouse with elevated dining, social spaces and a seamless connection to the outdoors.
Clive Daniel Hospitality has completed a comprehensive renovation of The Club at Olde Cypress in North Naples, Florida, reimagining the clubhouse’s common areas with a fresh approach to dining, entertaining and member amenities.
Lead designers Patricia Huamanchumo along with Adnilem Barrera completed in collaboration with Stock Development and Humphrey & Rosal Architects, the renovation brings a more contemporary hospitality experience to the established private club while maintaining a connection to its existing architecture and character.
At the heart of the transformation are expanded dining and bar areas designed to create a greater sense of openness and connection throughout the clubhouse. The redesigned spaces incorporate a sophisticated mix of warm wood tones, tailored upholstery, metallic accents, layered lighting and statement architectural features. A dramatic blue sculptural installation commands the ceiling above the main dining area, while the expanded bar introduces another strong visual focal point and social destination.
Throughout the clubhouse, the design team approached the renovation as more than an aesthetic update. Spaces were reconsidered around how members gather, dine, entertain and move throughout the property.
Together, the new spaces broaden the clubhouse experience beyond traditional dining and allow the property to accommodate a greater variety of social occasions, member programming and larger events.
The transformation continues outdoors, where comfortable lounge groupings, dining areas and covered gathering spaces create a seamless transition between interior and exterior environments. The resulting clubhouse feels increasingly connected to its golf course setting while offering members distinct experiences from day into evening.
“Hospitality design is ultimately about how a place makes people feel and how naturally they want to use it,” Woodhouse added. “At Olde Cypress, the renovation gave us the opportunity to create multiple experiences under one roof while still making the entire clubhouse feel connected.”
The completed project represents another collaboration between Clive Daniel Hospitality, Stock Development and Humphrey & Rosal Architects, bringing together architecture, development and interior design to deliver a clubhouse suited to the evolving expectations of today’s private-club member.
