” "I believe that architecture, nature and balance play a huge role in the outcome of an ideal space. There is always something new to learn and admire."
Faith Ashley is an award-winning designer with over 35 years of experience in the design field. Her knowledge and experience in the design industry speaks for itself, as prior to joining Clive Daniel Home, she has held the position of top salesperson for every company she has worked for in Southwest Florida since moving here over 15 years ago.
Growing up in Hanover, Massachusetts, Faith earned a BA in Interior Design from the University of Honolulu in 1987, moving to Italy a few years later to study independently. Upon returning from her travels in Europe, she established her company, Faith Ashley Interiors in the greater Boston area focusing on a mix of traditional New England flavored with European design. Over the next 15 years, her company’s work included window treatment design and painting techniques in luxury homes, designing spaces as unique as the people who lived in them. Faith’s work was published in several magazines, from Traditional Home, Bon Appetite and Good Housekeeping, This Old House, and Food & Wine. She was also named the 2005 Winner of Best Home Office -Top Show Houses in America.
In 2005 Ms. Ashley moved to Southwest Florida where, under the umbrella of noted area design companies, she continued designing luxury high end projects. When the 2008 recession saw a decline in her field, Faith turned to the lighting industry, where she spent several years as in-house lighting designer as well as doing sales and marketing, again earning top honors as a million dollar writer.
In 2019 she completed the ALA (American Lighting Association) testing and is now a certified lighting consultant on top of her interior design work. Ms. Ashley is active in local industry organizations, having held the position of President of IDS (Interior Design Society) of the Fort Myers Chapter since 2019, where she has been a member since 2010.
Faith credits her mother as the biggest influence on her decision to make interior design her career. Her mother was always beautifully updating their home and gathering a vast collection of antiques and fine art. Being surrounded by this beauty her whole life was a wonderful inspiration for Faith’s work.
Happily married to husband Kevin for over 10 years, Faith often spends her free time painting various home pieces, from walls to furniture, as well as traveling, biking, swimming and boating.
