Naples, FL – March 3, 2020 – Andrew Fentiman, a professional safari guide and veteran of over 150 African safaris, will share some of his “Tales from the African Bush” and amazing adventures at two special hour-long seminars at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
on Wednesday, March 25 in the Clive Daniel Home Community Room in Naples, Florida.
Andrew has spent 40 years custom-planning authentic African safaris for a discerning global clientele that includes American celebrities, European aristocracy, Arab sheiks and numerous travelers wanting a truly unique and special African safari experience.
His entertaining presentation includes an amusing and informative slideshow with dramatic photos and fascinating ‘bush’ anecdotes he has accumulated over four decades. The presentation will interest those who dream of going on a safari, those who have already been… and even those who will never set foot on African soil! He has lived in Australia, survived a shipwreck in the Indian Ocean, (swimming ten miles to shore through shark-infested waters while inflicted with third-degree burns), stalked by a hyena, shot at by poachers and enough exciting adventures to fill a mini-series on PBS. Happily, he and wife Jacqueline (whom he met on a safari – naturally) have called Southwest Florida home since 2003.
Since hitch-hiking around Europe at the age of 14, British-born Andrew has traveled on all seven continents and had bountiful adventures, several close calls and some truly incredible experiences. But as the audience will soon learn, Africa holds a unique place in Andrew’s heart. “No two safaris – and no two days in Africa – are ever alike” he says, “and the mysterious and evocative landscape, the wildlife and the people unfailingly reveal a special magic to those of us who are fortunate enough to experience an authentic African safari.”
