The design of this stunning new construction by Frank R. Jenkins Custom Homes echoes the textures and movements of nature—but with a glam twist. “The client had an interesting aesthetic,” said Clive Daniel Home interior designer Rebekah Errett-Pikosky, who co-designed the home with interior designer Charlie Hansen. “She loved neutral tones and textures, but also wanted metallic veins of gold running throughout the home to elevate the overall effect.”
From the moment one enters the home, its natural elegance is evident. “It’s modern with a soft twist… livable, clean, and unfussy,” according to Rebekah.
In the great room, a curved upholstered sofa and coordinating accent chairs ground the space and create an elegant foundation. The room also features a custom entertainment feature wall with a Calacatta Paloda marble base below wood paneling finished in a custom graphite stain. A twisting, mesh-like metal chandelier hangs from the ceiling and rounds out the space.
The adjoining kitchen is a beautiful continuation of the great room’s design and one of the most impressive rooms in the home, featuring custom oak cabinets finished in both a high-gloss and soft gray. The designers also incorporated a geometric stone and brass backsplash, brass and Lucite seating, and a dramatic pendant that mimics the beamed ceilings in the great room. The kitchen’s dining area has coordinating chairs, set around a tree root table and Michael Aram cocoon pendants.
One of the designers’ personal favorite details is in the outdoor living space: a striking counter-height table custom-made from Azul Macaubas Quartzite. There are truly beautiful and unexpected details in each room of the home—from the lighting to the wallpaper to the furniture selections.
