” "Bridging Architecture with Interior Design"
Renowned and frequently published Interior Designer Sherie Weidner specializes in comprehensive design-build, turnkey projects in both new construction and remodels. Builders, architects, investors, developers, and homeowners seek to collaborate with Sherie to integrate architectural elements with interior design. Builders are accustomed to Sherie’s ID Set drawings which are notably the best in the industry, and consistently assist in producing national and local award-winning homes.
Sherie’s most recent designs fuse the popular Japandi, Biophilic and Tender Living design approaches, placing a significant emphasis on sustainability and injecting organic, uncomplicated elements back into the home. Demanding hundreds of intentional decisions, Sherie’s designs are relatable across all generations, as she reinstates balance, well-being, peace, and organization.
No stranger to Florida Design Magazine, Sherie’s “Turnkey Tactics” made the cover of the magazine’s October 2023 issue, “Autumn in Paradise”. Her latest mid-century modern/Japandi “Striking a Balance” is currently featured in Florida Design Magazine’s 2024 issue, “Hello Spring”. “Renovation Inspiration” is a full home remodel Sherie designed in Estero, as featured in Florida Design Magazine’s Spring 2023 issue, “Waterside Bliss”.
Editorials of Sherie’s projects, as well as CDH advertisements featuring her creations, are also frequently published by Design + Decor Magazine, Luxe Magazine, Home & Design, Gulfshore Life, Naples Illustrated, Florida Weekly, Your Home Magazine, Ocean Home, and others.
As highlighted in the 2024 Annual Architects Issue of Design + Decor Magazine, “Today, she is a favorite among South Florida designers, not only for her impressive portfolio and extensive experience, but for her warm and friendly professionalism. Wonderfully down to earth and approachable, Sherie has the ability to connect with people and help her navigate what her clients truly want and need. This, she confides, is her secret for remarkable results.”
After graduating from Michigan State University and DePaul University in 1989, Sherie’s impressive resume commenced with Teng & Associates, an architectural and engineering design firm located in the Chicago Loop. After leaving the windy City in 1999, Sherie led a successful design company for 16 years in Dallas and then Naples, working primarily in residential design. She joined CDH in 2015 after being introduced to CDH’s extensive inventory and vast design resources.
Sherie is an extremely proud mother of two young adults and a 12-year TNBC Breast Cancer Survivor. She enjoys local art fairs, walks with her Golden Retriever, and being active in online forums to help fellow cancer survivors.
