A career in interior design seemed inevitable for Kathy Bootle as she grew up in Greenville, SC, once known as a textile center and a close neighbor to all the major furniture manufacturers in North Carolina. She has always loved the possibilities that design affords and its ever-changing trends in color, furniture, fabrics, and finishes.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Kathy began her career in design as a showroom manager and design consultant. Since transitioning into the role of interior designer, she has completed projects for clients all over Florida, as well as in the Caribbean and overseas. Kathy is highly skilled at creating unique and varied spaces, and she loves listening to her clients’ needs and visions to design the home of their dreams.
Her most memorable project involved designing a yacht for a high-profile CEO. She had to plan all exterior outdoor spaces and select all interior furnishings. “It was an exciting to watch this project come together and to create a wonderful living space for sea adventures,” she said.
Outside of design, Kathy can be found outside as she loves fishing, boating, golfing, and biking.
