Interior Designer

Brian Rehn is an interior architectural designer, artist, and design leader driven by a deep curiosity for how spaces shape the way people live, move, and feel. His career spans luxury hospitality, global retail, and large-scale design projects, blending conceptual strength with disciplined execution.

Most recently, Brian served as Global Design Director at L’Oréal in New York, where he led the design of multiple flagship stores and played a key role in the global retail rollout for Kiehl’s 2B skincare brand. His work balanced brand storytelling with immersive, customer-centric environments on an international scale.

Previously, as Senior Interior Designer at Susan Marinello Interiors, Brian designed landmark commercial and high-rise multi-family projects across San Diego, Seattle, and La Jolla—including the 32-story Palisade UTC luxury tower, one of his most notable projects. He has also contributed to hospitality and lifestyle destinations through roles at Tony Chi & Associates and The Standard Hotel, where he redesigned restaurants, rooftops, clubs, and managed the opening of The Standard East Village.

Conceptually driven yet highly pragmatic, Brian excels at translating vision into built reality. With expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, he seamlessly bridges collaboration between clients, architects, developers, and construction teams. An accomplished painter with exhibitions in the U.S. and Italy, Brian brings an artist’s intuition to every project—creating spaces that are both purposeful and emotionally resonant.
