A native of Kansas City, Linda “Lindy” Donahue received a business administration degree from the University of Kansas and began her career in finance. After ten years, however, she decided to explore her creative side and studied culinary arts in Paris. Afterward, Lindy spent 15 years in southern California further nurturing her creativity through interior design, staging, and fine cuisine.
“I have always loved architecture, design, and fashion,” she said. “Interior design combines so much of what I love and is a natural fit for me.”
Lindy enjoys creating environments that allow her clients to enhance the way they live and love their home. One of her favorite projects was renovating a 100-year-old historic home. Her design mixed restoration with new, luxurious furniture, glamorous window coverings, and modernized antiques for a truly timeless look.
Throughout her design career, Lindy has designed custom homes, condominiums, commercial spaces, and model homes. She has facilitated her design projects by working with developers, builders, and contractors, as well as realtors. In addition to providing room planning, furniture and flooring selections, window and wall treatments, Lindy has assisted clients with their textile and overall finish selections for a comprehensive and cohesive look. “I specialize in providing my clients with the beauty and comfort they desire,” she said.
When she is not busy designing, Lindy enjoys entertaining, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her cat, Phoebe.
