”My designs are an amalgamation of climactic chords consisting of various shapes, colors, patterns and textures. An eclectic dichotomy of periods and styles that magically, yet subtly, manipulate the basic pulse of design—all while being comfortable, elegant, sophisticated, timeless and durable to withstand the test of time.
Born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Gregory Charles received a classical interior design education. He began his schooling at Parsons School of Design in New York but completed it at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale after growing tired of New England winters.
Even as a student, Gregory was recognized for his talents, and was recruited by Taylor Woodrow Homes to aid in the design and build out of the Mirasol community in Palm Beach Gardens. Working with a team of architects and contractors, Gregory designed, supervised, and managed the entire constructive directive for more than 50 luxury single-family residences ranging from 5,000 to 25,000 square feet.
Following its completion, Gregory began working for the world’s largest luxury interior design firm, first in Palm Beach Gardens, and later in Las Vegas, where he was able to contribute to the 2009 New American Home, MGM Resorts International’s 76 acre mixed-use urban complex, and City Center, the largest privately-funded construction project in history of the United States of America. He was also able to design residential spaces for an extensive list of celebrities as well as domestic and international clients.
After moving back to South Florida in 2011, Gregory assumed the position of Studio Proprietor and Lead Interior Designer at Design Within Reach West Palm Beach, where he continuously maintained a top spot within the $2.3B organization’s top five revenue-producing interior designers.
In 2017, Gregory leaned into his entrepreneurial talents and founded Gregory Charles Interiors, LLC. After five years in business, however, he made the decision to close its doors and “come home” to Clive Daniel Home, whose team he had worked with for many years prior.
Well-versed in residential, commercial, yacht, aviation, and hospitality design, Gregory brings a unique perspective to the spaces he designs for Clive Daniel Home and utilizes inspiration from his varied background and travels, and the natural landscapes of the environments in which he works. Although he primarily works on projects in Florida, New York, and Connecticut, Gregory and the Clive Daniel Home team are accessible and available to clients worldwide.
