”A room should be both aesthetically pleasing and beneficial to one’s wellbeing.
Although she didn’t get her start as an interior designer, Neika Kentner always knew it was what she was meant to do. “Even as a little girl, design was always on my mind,” she said. “I loved dreaming up new ideas.”
Neika received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in business supervision and management and worked as a successful senior account executive for USA Today before making the transition to interior design. Once she began working as a designer, it soon became clear that she has a natural knack for it. Neika’s passion for what she does is evident in her work, and her clients have often praised her expertise and attentiveness to each facet of the design process.
Neika believes success starts with capturing the wants and needs of the client, and then bringing that vision to life—in a way that is not only beautiful, but also enhances the client’s everyday life. “I live in nature, enjoying every bit of its benefits, and I enjoy sharing those benefits with others through tasteful yet timeless design,” she said. “To me, a room should be both aesthetically pleasing and beneficial to one’s wellbeing.”
Outside of work, Neika enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, visiting parks, hiking, and of course, visiting Naples’ famed beaches (she’s a Southwest Florida native, after all). She also volunteers with her church and is active in her community.
