”Color and fine fabrics are my passion. They bring a room to life and add character.
Eugenia “Gena” Gray began her career in computer software sales after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law from the University of North Carolina. Her passion, however, has always been in interior design. Growing up in South Carolina, she spent countless hours going to estate sales with her grandmother and touring fine homes on garden tours. As a child, she loved pouring over interior design magazines and studying each line and detail of the rooms on the pages.
Gena’s love for interiors eventually led her to leave her career in software sales and attend the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She then started working as a manufacturer’s representative for high-end commercial furniture lines, providing support for several largescale projects including hospital offices, military base medical offices, and college expansions. She later became an interior designer with Southeastern Galleries in Charleston, South Carolina. While there, she worked with many clients on high-end residential homes, especially on Kiawah Island and Daniel Island.
“I loved working with my Kiawah Island clients,” she says. “The homes were spectacular and the views amazing—much like our Florida clients.”
Since moving to Boca Raton and joining the Clive Daniel Home team, Gena has worked on a variety of projects and enjoys the creative opportunities that each day brings. Outside of the showroom, she loves boating, walking the beach with her two rescue terriers, and supporting local animal shelters.
